here ice will absorb heat while water will release
if T is final temp then heat given by water is
Q1=mc/\T = m*1*[60-T]
Q2 = m* 0.5 * 10 + m*80 +m*1*[T-0]
by principle of calorimetry hl= hg
t= -12.5
which is not possible
thus whole mass has not been melted and finaltemp is 0'C
so to find the mass we proceed as
heat given by water = mc [60-0] = 60m
heat required by ice= mc[0-{-10}] = 5m
out of 60m 5m will be used to onvert ice from -10 to 0
so remaining 55m will melt only
55m /80 mass of ice
hence proved and i have used latent heat from my own if not specified in ques we can take the values (i was taught this by my tutor)
