here ice will absorb heat while water will release if T is final temp then heat given by water is Q1=mc/\T = m*1*[60-T] Q2 = m* 0.5 * 10 + m*80 +m*1*[T-0] by principle of calorimetry hl= hg t= -12.5 which is not possible thus whole mass has not been melted and finaltemp is 0'C so to find the mass we proceed as heat given by water = mc [60-0] = 60m heat required by ice= mc[0-{-10}] = 5m out of 60m 5m will be used to onvert ice from -10 to 0 so remaining 55m will melt only 55m /80 mass of ice hence proved and i have used latent heat from my own if not specified in ques we can take the values (i was taught this by my tutor)
