$\alpha_1=\frac{-a+\sqrt{a^2-4b}}{2},\beta_1=\frac{-a-\sqrt{a^2-4b}}{2}$

$\alpha_2=\frac{-b+\sqrt{b^2-4a}}{2},\beta_2=\frac{-b-\sqrt{b^2-4a}}{2}$

simplify $\alpha_2-\alpha_1=\beta_2-\beta_1$

you will get

interchange the terms and add 4 on both sides

a+2=-b-2 impliesa+b+4=0 answer is (a)
