From the quadratic mentioned by ankur,we get two roots.But only one of them satisfies the eqn.For both log's to ne defined,x<0 and x>-1.
Hence,x
(-1,0).The roots are -2+rt3 and -2-rt3,of which only -2+rt3 lies in the given interval.Hence,there is only one root.
