no i think tht the normal reaction is nt same on every surface
this is the reason why a ball dropped frm the same height bounces back to less height in sand than when it is dropped on concrete.....
another example is that u find it difficult to walk in sand than compared to on concrete the reason is that the concrete gives more normal reaction than a sand floor this normal reaction helps us to walk but in case of a sand floor the floor yields thus we cant get appropriate reaction nd so we find it difficult to walk ...........
