hey there i hav gt anothr method
check this out.....
first we hav 2 find the S in terms of u nd g
lets hav CASE 3 first.......
u=0 a=g S will be v^2 /2g...........
and time will be T3 = v / g
CASE 1 ...
LETS FIND THE DIST THE BODY TRAVELS UPWARS
u = u v = 0 a = -g S1 is u^2 / 2g nd t1 = u / g
nw the dist the body has 2 travel downwrd will be S1 + S = v^2 / 2g + u^2 / 2g = v^2 + u^2 / 2g
time it will take = t2 = root v^2 + u^2 / g
T1 = t1 +t2 = root v^2 + u^2 + u / g
CASE 2 .....
u = u a = g S = v^2 / 2g
T2 = root v^2 + u^2 - u / g
nw by the values of T1 , T2 , AND T3 WE EASILY GET THE REQUIRED RELATION ........
don't forget to rate me if u find me useful..............................................................................
