hey have a look at this i thnk i got the ans now this is a sum where you have to be a little carefull and avoid silly careless mistakes calculate dy/d@ = a@sin@ dx/d@ = a@cos@ so dy/dx = dy/d@xd@/dx = tan@ so slope of the normal is -1/tan@ now let a point on this curve be [a(cos@+@sin@),a(sin@-@cos@)] and slope is -1/tan@ using slope point form we get the equation of the normal as[believe me it looks complicated calculations but it is not] x+ytan@=atan@sin@+acos@ now using the formula for calculatin the distance of a point from a straight line taking point as origin and line as the normal you got we get the distance as a which gives you the required ans please correct me if i am wrong or nudge me if you have any doubts
