ok .. so itz IIT nd u DO have a stronger brand than BITS no doubt ... bbut i still have to put to my woords al;though u do have the brand .. my advice still goes that u shud take bits ..
just one thing .. getting computer at 350 might be a dicy call considering the cutoffs havent falen much .. but u will get eee i think .. cs will be touch nd go

@adhikar ... FYI .. firstly ... the avg package at iiit hyd is 5.2 lakh .. at bits it is 7 .. i guess 1.8 lakh cn be neglected then right ?
@adhikar again ... who told u branding isnt important ?? it is very omportant .. but as it goes for everything ... so it does for branding .. it is only gud to a limit ! had he got cs at iit guwahati i wudnt have said him to take bits .. but new iit's arent worth bargaining ..honestly speaking luking at these yrs ranks and branch allotment ppl have done HORRENDOUS mistakes by chosing new iit's over existing ones ....
as for iiit is concerned yes it is a gud college no doubt .. infact the prof qualification nd stuff is very gud prebably better than iit ... but mind u when 2 equivalent colleges are being considered , brand matters .. nd bits has a better brand than IIIT no doubt ...
@adhikar once more .. dude get a hold on urself .. "bits brigade"?? we are nod paid ppl praising ppl abt our college .. i have been on this site months before i even wrote my entrances ... i went to bits leaving iit roorkee biotech ( mind u i chose it myself ... it wsnt by default that i got it .. had i not wanted it i wudnt have filled it ) ... i left iit after a lot of contemplation nd i wsnt a fool to do it .. one yr down the lline .. i have learnt to like my clg .. nd more importantly for this post have developed amore sensible attitude than idiots like u r holding towards iit .... yes IIT is the big thing in India .. but new stuff is just too much ..
honestly speaking ... stop being a git calling it a brigade .. u srsly lack experience ingiving addvice just being a big mouth on a forum nowhere els e... may i ask u where all u have made to ? ? i guess that answer wud suffice all i said against u ...
ps : on a more stern note although i never wanted to say this ... if by chance u land up in pilani .. ... just noe what will happen to u ..
