Thapar will be a gud choice (nd branch is also not dat bad)...nd placements in Thapar r on the decent side, so u can go for it....one of my friend has just joined Thapr Mechanical....nd he says coll is pretty gud....

And as far as NIT Surat is concerned, i think Civil branch is also gud, but on comparing NIT Surat wid Thapr, i guess Thapr is a bit on the higher side....
