Let the roots be p,q

then acc. to the question, p + q = 1/p² + 1/q²

or, p+q = p² + q² / p²q²

or, p+q = (p+q)²- 2pq / p²q²

or, -b/a = (b²/a² - 2c/a) / c²/a²

or, - b/a = b² - 2ac / c²

solving this you get a/c, b/a, c/b in H.P.
