for the monkey b.......t - 2g=2a

                                =>30 - 20 = 2a

                               =>a=5 m/s^2

dats the mas possible acceleration the monkeys can have  if it exceeds it the tail of monkey a will get cut......

for monkey a.......t1 - 7g=7a

 since both monkeys will have same acceleration.....substituting a=5 we get t1 =105

dat the maximum tension......for minimum tension substitute a = 0 in the equation of monkey a....

all the best!!
