for the monkey b.......t - 2g=2a =>30 - 20 = 2a =>a=5 m/s^2 dats the mas possible acceleration the monkeys can have if it exceeds it the tail of monkey a will get cut...... for monkey a.......t1 - 7g=7a since both monkeys will have same acceleration.....substituting a=5 we get t1 =105 dat the maximum tension......for minimum tension substitute a = 0 in the equation of monkey a....
