Hi Nikhil,
I think hit_ur_heart has answered pretty much what I would have myself. The books he has quoted are tried and tested and I did them myself for clearing JEE. Go for them and give emphasis on clarity of concepts, practising lots of relevant problems and increasing your speed and accuracy. You'll perform well in any entrance if you do so.
