hiiiii,
becoz the earth ,sun ,moon and other planets move as a system and dont move separately......held by the gravitational forces that exist b/n them.....................to make it simpler and to make u understand easier lets take a example............

this is an EXAMPLE only.................a similar case...........this is not wat happens in the system of earth ,sun and moon..........

take 2 ballons and tie them together with a considearably long thread { let there be space b/n them}...........if u leave them from a top of a building the distance of the balloons will change with respect to other bodies ......but not the distance b/n the balloons........................

OUR CASE:-
in our case the "thread"  is nothing but the gravitational force...................there are a lot of systems like our in this universe and the distance b/n the various systems only change................................

hope u understand..........................do ask if u have any doubts...........

cheers!

IF U THINK U CAN, U CAN........IF U THINK U CAN'T, U CAN'T.........

BE THE BEST OF WHAT EVER YOU ARE!!!

THEN U WILL SUCCEED FOR SURE!!!
