Hello hit, Sorry to say but you are wrong here..aluminium isopropoxide for sure donates its hydride, the problem was how could acetone in water perform the exchange reaction which Rahul has rightly given the explaination and obviously the enol form is more stable than keto form here due to hydrogen bonding.
you have to run faster and faster so as to remain where you are.. even if you are on the right track you will get run over if you just keep sitting there...
