acc 2 the graph given the graph ends below thw starting pt
ie the initial position is above the final
yhus acc 2 it the avg is -ve

and for the q.22 the ans given is correct
see the
vr1=60-42=18km/hr=5m/s
to overtake the total diplacement for the car is 5+5=10m
thus the time taken is=10/5=2s
now
for the distance to b travelled by overtaking car=speed * time+ length of the car(just try 2 imagine a car ovetaking another)
=50*2/3 +5=38.3m
approx 38m
