hey the ques is not of containt relation let ob=x,bq=y and the distane b/w the mass and the extensible string b l now l is constant while x and y changes at any istant when the angle as given is fig is Q l^2+y^2=x^2 differentiating wrt 2dy/dt=2dx/dt see dy/dt is rate of change of bq ie speed of pulling string=u and dx/dt = rate of change of ob=v thus speed of block up=vcosQ thus u=vcosq or v=u/cosQ hope u got it
