If the area of the smaller sector be A, then we have
                  A=1/2 r2 x (x is the central angle)
So area of bigger sector = 3A
                                   =3/2  rx
which can be written as 1/2  r2 (3 x )
that is, the angle subtended by major sector = 3x
also being a diameter
    x + 3x = 180
 =>       x=45
thus we knw that angle between a pair of lines is given by
tan X = 2 sqrrt (h2 - ab)
                a+b
putting x = 45, we have
             1 = 2((a+b)2-ab) /(a+b)
=>   (a+b) = 2((a+b)2-ab)
squaring       (a+b)2 = 4(a+b)2-4ab
    =>  3(a+b)2-4ab = 0
    =>  a2+2ab+3b2 = 0
