water equivalent of any substance means the amount of water having same heat capacity as that substance. heat lost by water(hot)=400*1*3=1200 cal heat gained by water(cold) and calorimeter=150*1*2+ms*2=300+2ms now, 1200=300+2ms 2ms=900 ms=450 cal i hope i m correct.rate me if u plz ![]() |
