P1V1/n1T1  =  P2V2/n2T2

THEREFORE 3 * 2/n1600  = 0.6 * 1 / 500 n2

on solving n2 = 0.6n1/5

as n2(MOLES REMAINING) < n1 (MOLES PRESENT INITIALLY), some gas must be allowed to escape = n1-n2= 4.4n1/5

n1 can be found by using PV =nRT
ND THE PERCENT OF GAS ESCAPED IS 4.4n1/5n1  *100 = 88%
