Let us try to solve this question ..

well take the midpoint as (h,k) ...

now let the line drawn from (3,2) meet 6x+7y = 30 in (a,b)

so since (h,k) is middle point .. we have ..

(3+a)/2 = h and (2+b)/2 = k

this means a = 2h - 3

and b = 2k-2

Now a and b satisfies the equation of line 6x + 7y = 30

so 6a + 7b = 30

or, 6(2h - 3) + 7(2k-2) = 30

or, 12h + 14k = 62

or, 6h + 7k = 31

Hence the locus is a striaght line 6x + 7y = 31
