Hey dude! The focal length of mirror remains d same. i does not depend on the refractive index but just d curvature. f = R/2 Remembered!
n 4 d lens using lens makers formula
1. for radii of curvatures (let it be biconvex lens)
1/3 = (1.5 - 1)(1/R - 1/-R) 1 = 1.5(2/R) R = 3 cm
2. for lens in medium
1/f = (1.5/2 - 1)(1/3 - 1/-3)
= -0.25(2/3) f = -6 cm which indicates dat it acts as diverging lens which is true.
3. if it is biconcave lens then 1st step is same exept 4 signs and R = -3
n fconcave = 6 cm which acts as converging lens
pls rate me if correct
