see in that particular match the folowing question abt the bimetallic strip ... there are many things to argue over at . so in the end what will matter most is what the jee panel thnks is right .... see .. u guys are fighting that energy conversion shud be there in bimetallic strip .. i ask u what process is there which is not accomanied with energy conversin??? or electric fuse????? or incandecent lamp??? or let me rack ur brains moore .. if there is energy conversion ... especially in lamp as u all say it .... converted from electric to light is it? and heat.... then due to the heat there shud be thermal expansion... and a severe case of melting might follow ... and shudnt there be thermal expansion first in the case of fuse???
these are just starters ... see in this answer 256 different answers are possible with only one correct ... and dont go by the explainiation of any 123iitjee or neone else ... use ur own brains guys .... that is why this question is highly controversial ... there re a thousand things to argue upon ... so no point in fighting ... or u prove me wrong in whatever i hhave said ... so as far as i think only the basic process in each case shud be considered unless the jee panel's brain is working just like mine in thinking as vividly as possible ... in every case as far as i say the answer shud be either of these aand not an intermadiate of what all the coching institutes are saying ...
and there is nothing wtong in getting ur jee doubts cleared ... afterall a jee question is a queston itself ... but dont waste ur time arguing over unnecessary topics like a queston like this which might lead u anywhere ... but as far as reppulsion is concerned ... i agree with u... they shu repel... it is as simplke as considering them to be 2 magnets with opposite poles together .
