basically in organic chemistry u need to stress upon the
1. reaction mechanisms......... each nd every step shud b very clear
.........products of the rxn may b asked
2. the intermediates of the rxn like carbocations, carbo anions ,carbenes, free radicals................their stabilty orders , rearrangement capability, ease of formations nd so on
3. i think a ques frm goc is always there.......abt the inc or dec acidic or basic character................stability orders
nd fr that ur concepts on inductive effects ,mesomeric effects,.etc
regarding buk................for clear concepts u may refer morrison nd boyd or l.finar..........
while fr pracice arihant or op agarwal r gud buks
....................
btr first clear ur concepts.........................very necessary
