time = distance/speed=400/10=40sec
sorry i am not able to draw the diag, take tan thete, where theta is the angle betweenthe perpendicular directionand the direction in which the boat moves. tan theta=2/10=1/5. also tan theta =x/400, where x is dis from starting point equate x/400=1/5 x=80m
