 ab + 5(a-b)
=>   (1/2)log1218.log1254  +5 [log12 18 -  (1/2)log 12 54]
 
Now let us multiply and divide the second term (i.e 5 [log12 18 -  (1/2)log 12 54]) by 2
 
then we have.......
 
=> (1/2)log12 72 + (5/2)[2log12 18 -  2(1/2)log 12 54] 
=> (1/2)log12 72 + (5/2)log12 6          
=> (6/2) + (5/2)(1/2)
=> 3+ 5/4
 
so your ans is 17/4
