hii plastic rgion is the region where the body does not follow the hookes law of stress being directly prop. to strain( law applicable 4 small deformations) in this case after the deforming force is withdrawn , the body does not return to its original shape or configuration. u can recognise 4rm graph by seeing whether the stress and strain r prop. in the given graph or not..........
Elastomers r special substances which do not follow hoookes law and the S-S curve for them is a curved line ( same as the x^2 graph) for e.g - arteries' tissue..
