no dude , i am not calling u a spammer, u've misunderstood me

spammers use specialized programs to search through the internet and find forums like this where they could find email addresses in an open format like this and then they mass mail them will spam

and this is also for ur own safety, oooooooooops , you've just opened ur email address to the spam world, now if any spambot(automatic computer pgmed to send spam ) stumbles upon ur email while searching numerous websites like this, it will send mass spam to ur address as well

so it is an unsafe practice to openly type email addresses in blogs/forums

if someone pm u their address, it will be invisible to the outside world and spambots cant stumble upon it, so it will be safe

btw, would you shout out ur home phone number in a public place
