Get this thing clear in your head: It doesn't matter whether IIT asks subjective or objective questions. It is the level of clarity that u build up in your concepts that will matter.
Understand this: IIT JEE is not a selection test. It is a test designed for one sole purpose: Mass rejection.
Get books which can clarify your basic fundas. Then move on to tougher problems.
I used the following set for maths:
Inter Series by Dasgupta (Algebra, Calculus, Trigonometry, Coordinate) Problem Plus By A.Dasgupta TMH MCQs in mathematics by Bharati Bhawan.
One piece of advice: Don't go madly after books that look tough. You won't gain anything. get ur basics clear. Then move on to bigger things
