Mate, the thing abt almost all nits is the not very good infrastructure, especially the hostel facilities. But, that apart Trichy, Warangal and Suratkal are easily among the top 15 engg. colleges in India and have excellent reputation and recruitment. Also, all state nits have a certain minimum standard and are always a good option if you get a good branch. To follow that up, are Kozhikode, Surat, Kurukshetra, Rourkela and Durgapur in that order. Note that many other engg colleges in various states are better than the later 2 like SSN in Chennai, Harcourt Butler in Kanpur and Shibpur in Howrah.
