we kno.......

tan3x=3tanx-tan³x/1-3tan²x

tan3x/tanx=3-tan²x/1-3tan²x

for dis equation to b valid.....

3-tan²x=k-3ktan²x

tan²x=k-3/3k-1

range of tanx...is it can ake all value.....including infinity.......

since it is tan²x the RHS cannot take negative values.......'

or

k-3/3k-1>0

(k-3)(3k-1)/(3k-1)²>0

(k-3)(3k-1)>0

k can take values from -infinty to 1/3 and 3 to +infinty.....
