Let the period be T. Then |sinx| + |cosx| = |sin(x+T)| + |cos(x+T)| Squaring the above equation, we get |sin2x| = |sin[2(x+T)]| |sint| = |sin(t+2T)| where 2x = t |sint| is periodic with period  So 2T =  T = /2
