will start, if a pair of straight lines i given in the form- ax^2+bx^2....(usual one) then the intersection points of the lines can be obtained by differentiating the equations with respect to x and then y after doing this u will get two equations solving which u will get the intersection point for eg. 2x^2+4xy +3y^2+2y+5x+2=0 diff. w.r.t. to x we have 4x+4y+5=0 here terms independent of x are constants diff. w.r.t. y 6y+4x+2=0 here terms independent of y are constants solvingthe two u will get ur intersection point which comes to be (-11/4 ,3/2) plsss rate me for this knowledge(some may be knowing this!!!) |
