None of the IITians I have talked were speaking for Aeronautical Engg. In India there is a very less scope for it ( Jobs ) . Only HAL and ISRO would take u as Scientist. And the Salary would range btw 8,000-13,000-25,000 whereas a CS student from the most ordinary institute would get a 25,000-35,000 minimum. Yeah if u r really insterested then u must also do a M.tech in some special areas like propulsion etc. and then do a Phd from US then u might get a job at NASA or Lockheed Martin or Boeing or Airbus Best of luck ! !
