Consortium of Medical, Engineering & Dental, Karnataka (COMEDK) Entrance Exam:

The Karnataka Private Medical & Dental Colleges Association, in their endeavour to offer an effective, fair and objective testing procedure to determine merit of students seeking admission to the member institutions, have formed “Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka”. The Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka is popularly known as the COMEDK among students. COMEDK engineering & medical examination has started with initiation from the Karnataka Private Medical and Dental Colleges Association and this establishment is striving to provide a interactive, effective and evaluative academic atmosphere to students, who aspire to establish themselves in professional field like engineering and medical.

Through COMEDK engineering entrance exam, candidates will be eligible to get compete for their desired engineering or medical branches or courses. Issue of COMEDK application form & bulletin marks the beginning of the COMEDK 2011 admission process. COMEDK also organizes an entrance exam for the post graduate programs known as COMEDK PGET.

Eligibility Criteria in COMEDK:

The COMEDK eligibility criteria for UGET COMEDK admissions are different for all the programs. So, student must go through required exam Eligibility COMEDK to get sucessful to participate in comedk engineering entrance examination. Comdek conducts a separate entrance test for admission to undergraduate courses in medical and engineering called COMEDK UGET or also known as COMED. The application form for Comdek UGET will be available in the month of March. Keep checking the official website of comdek for the comdek application form notification. COMEDK UGET used for admission to undergraduate Medical, Dental and Engineering courses will be conducted in different cities across the state of Karnataka.

The COMEDK UGET test scores are valid only for admissions during the academic year of entrance examination. The comdek entrance test is mandatory for candidates seeking admissions for the Under-Graduate courses in Comdek Member Institutions. Comdek UGET entrance test, publication of comdek score and comdek rank list will be followed by a centralized counseling.

COMEDK Exam Pattern:

Comdek UGET entrance test is for those students who wants to seek admission in various institutes in Karnataka, who offer programmes like BE, MBBS & BDS. Comedk UGET entrance paper pattern comprises of four papers,they are given as:

Paper 1: Mathematics,

Paper2: Biology,

Paper3: Physics &

Paper4: Chemistry.

In COMEDK UGET Exam Combined paper for Physics & Chemistry are Compulsory for all candidates. Candidates who aspire the apply for MBBS Course, for them Biology is Compulsory. Mathematics is compulsory for candidates who wish to go for BE Course. More detailed COMEDK UGET Exam Pattern/Exam Scheme .

COMEDK Application Forms:

The issue of COMEDK application form marks the beginning of the comdek admission process. Candidates can apply online at the website www.comedk.org. For this they have to first obtain a Demand Draft. After filling the details in the comdek online application form, candidates have to send the printed version of the online form and send it to comdek address along with Demand Draft and the mentioned documents. The instructions for filling up comdek application form will be available on the official website. Comdek entrance exam will be conducted in the beginning of the May month every year
