Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Test (MPPET) Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates who have done their 12th class under 10+2 scheme accredited by MP state board or any equivalent examination from accredited board/university or are appearing in the qualifying examination can apply for MPPET. Also, candidates who have passed final year Diploma in any Engineering branch of Madhya Pradesh Board of Technical Education, Bhopal / Rajiv Gandhi Technical University, Bhopal can apply for the professional entrance test MP (MPPET).

Candidates must have passed their qualifying examination with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as main subjects with the aggregate of 50% marks. Candidate must be a citizen of India and should not be more than 21 years on October 1 of the year of admission (SC/ST are granted relaxation of 3 years).

Domicile Requirements for the candidates appearing for the MP Pet Entrance Test pattern :

Candidate must be an Indian citizen.

Candidate must have been educated in an educational institution of MP at least for three consecutive years during the five years duration from the year of examination.

Candidate should be a bonafide resident of Madhya Pradesh.

Candidate must be a son/daughter of

-An employee or a pensioner of the Government of M.P. or an employee of the Government of M.P. who died while in service of these State or an officer of the All India Services borne on the cadre of M.P.

-A Central Government employee including employee of Defense Establishments, employee of Post & Telegraph Dept. or the Railways or an employee of a public sector undertaking posted and stationed in M.P. on or before January 1, of the year of examination till the date of admission.

A person settled in Madhya Pradesh(MP) under any resettlement scheme sanctioned by the Government of India or the State Government of M.P.

NRI Quota Seats:

The NRI Quota Seats are offered to those candidates whose parents are NRI. In order qualify for the NRI quota seats candidate must have passed the qualifying examination with aggregate of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics taken together. Candidates are required to submit their application for m long with following certificates;

Mark sheet of +2 examinations showing that candidate has cleared higher secondary in first attempt.

Certificate from the Indian Diplomatic Mission or Chancellery or High Commission from the concerned foreign country should show that the father / mother of the candidate are NRI in that country.

Madhya Pradesh Pre Engineering Entrance Test (PET) is the most competitive entrance examination of the state. The candidates in order to appear in the entrance examination have to follow the eligibility criteria given below.

•   The candidate should be a native of India.
•   He/she should fulfill the domicile requirement as laid by the authority.
•   The candidates should have passed 10+2 of Higher Secondary Board, Madhya Pradesh or of any other recognized Board or University with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as main subjects of study.
•   The applicants, who have passed final year Diploma in any Engineering branch of Madhya Pradesh Board of Technical Education Bhopal / Rajiv Gandhi Technical University, Bhopal, are also eligible.
•   The candidates, who are appearing in the qualifying examination or are waiting for result, can also apply.
•   The upper age limit of the candidate is restricted to 21 years as on 1st October of the year of admission. Relaxation of three years is there for SC/ST candidates.
