Manipal University Under Graduate Entrance Tests (Manipal UGET):
Manipal University , a deemed university in Manipal, Karnataka which was formerly called as Manipal Academy of Higher Education or MAHE with the total strength of students is around 96,000 approximately from 51 different countries in the main campus. Manipal University in India has acquired academic collaboration internationally so as to provide higher standards of the education in engineering, medicine, biomedical, communication with universities of US, Australia, Germany, Nepal and other academic organizations.
Manipal University takes admission of NRIs / foreign students on certain percentage on available seats under the category of foreign citizens, PIO Card Holders, OCI (Overseas Citizens of India), Non-Resident Indians and NRI sponsored students under the Foreign/ NRI category. The admissions in manipal university for foreign students are based on merit and marks/grades obtained in the qualifying examination (equivalent to the +2 examinations of India).
International students are not required to take the Manipal UGET entrance test conducted by Manipal University for resident Indian students. Foreign/ NRI students from abroad (outside India) will generally be admitted at the beginning of the academic year commencing in July/ August every year.
Manipal University Admission Procedure:
Aspirants looking for Admission to Manipal UGET degree courses one is through applying online & the second is by applying offline.
Through Online:
The online application consists of:
1. Application Fee of Rs.500
2. Entrance test Fee of Rs.1000 (Only if the course you are applying requires Entrance test). This payment can be done through Credit Card/Net Banking or Demand Draft
Through Offline:

Candidates should print the application form, complete it in all respects and mail it to Admissions Office along with the demand draft. The DD should be drawn in the name of 'Manipal University' payable at Manipal or Udupi. The total amount includes following components: Application Fee of Rs.500 & Entrance test Fee of Rs.1000.

Manipal UGET Degree Courses:
Manipal University conducts an Under Graduate Entrance Tests (UGET) in order to intake admissions into various engineering undergraduate courses & also in MBBS, BDS, BPharma, Biotechnology, Nursing, Medicine, BOT, BPT, B.Sc. MIT, Dairy, Agriculture, and Forestry. The university has its sister campuses/branches in Nepal, Malaysia, and Sikkim also to provide technical education to wide range of students across asia.
Manipal UGET Test Pattern:
The test duration is of 2.30 hours and consists of 240 multiple choice questions (MCQ) of the objective type. The question paper will be in English. The approximate distribution of questions is as follows: Physics - 60 questions, Chemistry - 60 questions, Mathematics - 80 questions, English & General Aptitude - 40 questions.
Manipal UGET Eligibility Qualification:
Aspirants from karnataka or from other state as well as NRIs/Foreign students seeking admission in undergraduate courses of Manipal University through Manipal UGET entrance must go through well defined syllabus, prescribed MU UGET eligibility qualification criteria .
