SRM Engineering Entrance Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates seeking admission into any engineering or architecture undergraduate courses (B.Tech & B.Arch) offered by SRM University must satisfy following qualification criteria..
For B. Tech course:
1. To be an Indian national and resident who have completed their schooling in India.
2. For B. Tech course from SRM University Candidate must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent with an aggregate of 60% marks with physics, chemistry, & mathematics (PCM) and for bioinformatics, biomedical & instrumentation engineering, bioprocess in Physics, Chemistry, and biology (PCB).
3. Candidates, on the basis of the merit list, will be called for counseling at SRM University for final Admission.
4. Candidates who have attempted Physics, Chemistry and Biology in the SRM EEE are eligible only for B.Tech. Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Biomedical Engineering, Bioprocess Engineering, Food Process Engineering and Genetic Engineering programs.
For B.Arch. Courses:
1. To be an Indian national and resident who have completed their schooling in India.
2. Admission to B.Arch. program, in SRM university, will be based on the aggregate of marks secured in the qualifying examination and in the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA).
3. Admission would be offered purely on the basis of the merit list by giving equal weightage to aggregate of marks secured in qualifying examination and to NATA score.
4.A student pass in (10+2) or its equivalent having a minimum total aggregate of 60% with English and Mathematics as subjects of study and a minimum score of 40% in National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA).
Follow above eligibility criteria to take adminssion in B.Tech engineering courses/ B.Arch courses.
Eligibility Criteria for International Students:
1.) Pass in 10+2 of India or equivalent examination eg. CBSE, ISCE, A Levels, IB, STPM, SAM, OSSD, HSC, NCEA Level 3, American High School, etc. with minimum 60% aggregate or equivalent grade in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and a pass in English.
2.) Students following the American High School system will be considered if the above courses have been taken in the 11th and 12th grades or 'AP' (Advanced Placement) courses or completed the above science courses in the Bachelor's degree.
Bachelors Degree for international students:
1.) Aerospace Engineering
2.) Architectural Engineering
3.) Automobile Engineering
4.) Chemical Engineering
5.) Civil Engineering
6.) Civil Infrastructure Engineering
7.) Computer science & Engineering
8.) Electrical & Electronics Engineering
9.) Electronics & Communication Engineering
10.) Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering
11.) Geo Informatics
12.) Information & Telecommunication Engineering
13.) Information Technology
14.) Instrumentation & Control Engineering
15.) Mechanical Engineering
16.) Mechatronics

Eligibility criteria for B.Arch courses (International Students):
1.) Pass in 10+2 of India or equivalent examination e.g. CBSE, ISCE, A Levels, IB, STPM, SAM, OSSD, HSC, NCEA Level 3, American High School, etc. with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks or equivalent grade with English and Mathematics as subjects of study and a minimum score of 40% marks in the All India National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) conducted by the Council of Architecture (COA).
2.) Students following the American High School system will be considered if the above courses have been taken in the 11th and 12th grades or 'AP' (Advanced Placement) courses B.Arch.
