DCE CEE Admission Procedure:
a.) Admission to the B.Tech. Courses through DCE combined entrance exam will be made at Delhi Technological University, Delhi.
b.) The admission of the candidates belonging to the different regions and categories will be made on the basis of AIEEE conducted by CBSE as described…
i.) The candidates who have passed the qualifying Examination from recognized School/ College/Institutes located within the National Capital Territory of Delhi are eligible for admission against 85% seats reserved for Delhi Region Candidate on the basis of AIEEE entrance.
ii.) The candidates who have passed the qualifying Examination from recognized School/College/Institute located outside the National Capital Territory of Delhi are eligible for admission against 15% seats reserved for Outside Delhi Region candidates on the basis of All India Overall Rank of AIEEE.
(c.) For all categories of Delhi Region/Outside Delhi Region Candidates the basis of admission is the rank secured by the candidate in AIEEE. The candidates who have appeared in AIEEE are not automatically considered for admission to B.Tech. courses. They are required to submit a separate application on a prescribed form to be procured from Delhi Technological University after the announcement of AIEEE Result. The Application Form for admission to B.Tech. courses can be downloaded from www.dce.edu. Students should indicate their rank in their respective category at the AIEEE in the appropriate column (The required Application Form for the B.Tech. Courses for admission for next year is attached at the end of this Prospectus).
(d.) The candidates who seek admission as nominees of the Government of India need not submit the aforesaid application. Their application must be forwarded through the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India as detailed under Clause 3.7.
