West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) Points to Ponder:
1.) 0% of Intake in all Self-Financing/Private Institutions to be filled up through AIEEE Examination for Engg. & Tech. courses except B. Pharm
2.) 10% of Intake in all Self Financing/Private Institutions of the State may be filled up through JEE Examination under NRI/Management Quota.
3.) Haldia Institute of Technology, ICARE Complex, HIT Campus, Dist. Purba Medinipur, P.O. Hatiberia under west bengal technical university has been acrridiated as B by the NAAC. As on as on March 31st, 2007.
4.) Total number of AICTE approved colleges in west Bengal is 54 with an intake capacity of 15477. ( source http://www.aicte.ernet.in/ApprovedInstitute.htm )
