Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE) Eligibility Criteria:
Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech):
1.) Candidates seeking admission into B. Tech. courses via UPTU (Uttar Pradesh Technical University) are required to pass their Intermediate of U.P. Board or (10+2) from any affiliated university /board with Mathematics and Physics as the compulsory subjects along with any one optional subject from Chemistry/Bio-Technology/Computer Science/ Biology.
2.) Candidates who seek admission into 4 year B. Tech. program in Agricultural Engineering offered by colleges/institutions accredited by Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow are required to pass Intermediate of U.P. Board or (10+2) with Agriculture as a subject.
3.) Candidates are required to secure aggregate of 45% (40% for SC/ST) marks in the required subjects in the qualifying examination and 40% (35% for SC/ST) in each optional subject.
4.) Candidates seeking admission into B. Arch course are required to secure 50% marks in aggregate in the qualifying examination and 40% (35% for SC/ST) in each optional subject.
For admission into B. Tech. (Marine Engineering) programme the candidates must have passed the qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with the aggregate of 60% marks and 50% marks in English. Also, candidate must not be more than 20 years of age on 1st July of the year of admission.
Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) (Ag Engg): For admission to first year of B.Tech/B.Tech (Ag Engg) candidate must have passed intermediate examination of U.P. board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized board/university as given in information brochure of UPSEE-2011
The candidate must have clearly passed with 40% marks for general/OBC and 35% for SC/ST candidates in aggregate. The candidate is essentially required to pass in each subject of the subject groups mentioned in the information brochure UPSEE-2011 without grace marks
Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) (IInd year lateral entry): For admission to second year (lateral entry) of B.Tech, the candidate must have passed three years Diploma in engineering course; securing minimum 60% marks in aggregate or three years B.Sc degree with mathematics as one subject; securing minimum 60% marks in aggregate as per details provided in the brochure.
Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma) (specialization in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Physics, Chemistry and Biology): For admission to first year of B.Pharma candidate must have passed intermediate examination of U.P. board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized board/university as given in information brochure of UPSEE.
The candidate must have clearly passed with 40% marks for general/OBC and 35% for SC/ST candidates in aggregate. The candidate is essentially required to pass in each subject of the subject groups mentioned in the information brochure UPSEE-2011 without grace marks.
Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma) (IInd year lateral entry): For admission to second year (lateral entry) of B.Pharma the candidate must have passed Diploma in Pharmacy course; securing minimum 60% marks in aggregate
Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch): For admission to first year of B.Arch, a candidate must have passed intermediate examination of U.P. board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized board/university; securing minimum 50% marks for general/OBC and 45% for SC/ST candidates in aggregate. The candidate is essentially required to pass in each subject of the compulsory and optional subjects mentioned in the information brochure of UPSEE-2011 without grace marks. A candidate passing three year Diploma in Architecture (10+3) recognized by central/state govt securing minimum 50% marks in aggregate is also eligible for admission to first year of B.Arch, only. The candidate will have to appear in the entrance examination UPSEE-2011 for first year of B.Arch (paper-4) as mentioned above.
Bachelor of Hotel Management Catering Technology (BHMCT): For admission to first year of BHMCT candidate must have passed intermediate examination of U.P. board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized board/university as given in information brochure of UPSEE-2011
The candidate must have clearly passed with 40% marks for general/OBC and 35% for SC/ST candidates in aggregate. The candidate is essentially required to pass in each subject of the subject groups mentioned in the information brochure UPSEE-2011 without grace marks.
Bachelor of Fashion Apparel Design (BFAD): For admission to first year of BFAD candidate must have passed intermediate examination of U.P. board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized board/university as given in information brochure of UPSEE-2011
The candidate must have clearly passed with 40% marks for general/OBC and 35% for SC/ST candidates in aggregate. The candidate is essentially required to pass in each subject of the subject groups mentioned in the information brochure UPSEE-2011 without grace marks.
Master of Business Administration (MBA): For admission to first year of MBA course, candidate must have passed bachelor degree course of minimum three years duration from any recognized university in India.The candidate must have clearly passed without grace marks with an aggregate of 40% marks for general/OBC and 35% for SC/ST candidates.
Master of Computer Application (MCA): For admission to first year of MCA, candidate must have passed bachelor degree course of minimum three years duration from any recognized university with Mathematics as a subject at 10+2 level or at bachelor degree level.
The candidate must have clearly passed without grace marks with an aggregate of 40% marks for general/OBC and 35% for SC/ST candidates.
