Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Exam (BCECE) Pattern:

The BCECE exam comprises of three papers of Physics, Chemistry and Maths of 1 hour duration each. The standard of exam is that of Intermediate and the medium is in English.

Reservation of seats in BCECE:

SC-14%, ST-10%, BC-10%, children of armed personnel-1 seat. Two seats in each college of Sindri, Muzaffarpur, Patna and Bhagalpur are reserved for those holding a diploma in Engineering. Seats are also reserved for Central Government nominees and for candidates belonging to States/Union Territories which do not have engineering colleges.

Domicile Restrictions:

Residents of Bihar. Candidates whose parents are employees to Tata Iron & Steel Company are eligible to seek admission at Bihar Institute of Technology (BIT), Sindri only.
