see...da question is......da derivative of
 
y=(1+x)(1+x2)(1+x4)(1+x8)...............(1+x2^n)
 
y=1/1-x (1-x)(1+x)(1+x2)(1+x4)(1+x8)...............(1+x2^n)
 
y=1/(1-x)(1-x2)(1+x2)(1+x4)(1+x8)...............(1+x2^n)
 
again we can use (a+b)(a-b)=a2-b2
 
so we get
 
y= (1-x4^n)/1-x
 
use u/v rule....
 
dy/dx= (-4nx4^n-1)(1-x)+(1-x4^n)/(1-x)2
 
u can simplify......i guess itz ryt......
