given fnt,
n(x+) - [n(x+1)] + tan (x/2) = n { (x+1) - [x+1] } + tan (x/2)
period of x - [x] is 1 ie (x+1) - [x+1] is 1
period of tan x is  ie period of tan (x/2) is  * 2/ = 2
peroid of given fnt is lcm of 1 & 2 = 2
