p = [ (x^3) +2]/x
for maximum value of p dp/dx = 0
3 (x^3) - (x^3) -2 =0
which gives x= 1
therefore maximum value of p= 3
f(x) = x^3 -px +2
for real roots p should be greater than 0
number of values of p 1,2,3
hence number of equations is 3
