hi sumanyuhans current is scaler bcoz from ohm's law V =IR now since V & R are scalar's hence I is scalar. also second way of seeing it is I = dq/dt where q is a scalar hence i should be a scalar now u might say that current flows from +ve to -ve terminal hence it has a direction.yes of course but this direction does not change & remains the same under any condition .hence it cannot be said that it is a vector. hope you understood
