ASPIRANTS?AAPKE LIYE?DEKHO NA YAAR

Hello frnds,

Often I see many goiitians asking for the books for the preparation of iitjee and the way to prepare. Few months back I too was searching for that but at last I got it here only in an article posted by an iitian who got 114^th rank by self study and in the first attempt.. So I think u must have understood it?s not my original article. I?m just writing what I remember in that for the new comers and who have not read it n in desperate need of it.

In his article he had told about his mistakes what he did during the preparation n the way to get top 10 ranks. So I?m writing few portions of that article what I remember.

The first thing is to be relax n firm on Ur decision. IIT is not as tough as u think n others say n neither very easy too .Those who clear it are one among us only. Then why not we? By proper preparation it?s easy to get through it with a good rank.

First thing is that u should know IIT never asks tough questions. Only conceptual n tricky questions are asked that needs a lot of practice. I think u must have seen this years question paper that was of NCERT pattern n many of u were cursing the framers but it?s the IIT ??UNPREDICTABLE.

I suggest u to prepare for JEE in three phases n it?s good if u start it right after class 10^th board exams otherwise u may be pressurized.

IN THE FIRST PHASE

Clear Ur concepts from the following books.

PHYSICS: - H.C Verma (1^st n 2^nd volume)

CHEMISTRY: - Dr. O.P Agrawal, R.C Mukherjee (physical chem.)

MATHS: - K.C Sinha (algebra, calculus n probability)

S.L Loney (trigonometry n co-ordinate)

Don?t worry if u cannot solve its questions. Its answers are available in the market n let me remind u that don?t touch resnick halliday. No doubt it?s a good book but u will waste a lot of time in that as it has got many things beyond the syllabus of IIT. Revise these books 2-3 times. You are ready for top 500 if u prepare this much fully.

NOW COMES THE SECOND PHASE

U have already got enough concept required for the JEE. Now just try to solve the problems of these books.

PHYSCS: - IRODOV n solution of abhay kr. Singh

CHEMISTRY: - ARIHANT

MATHS: - T.M.H

Revise these twice or thrice if time permits. Now u are ready for the top 100.

NOW, HERE COMES THE THIRD N THE FINAL PHASE

U Know it?s the most important phase as u would be giving the final touch to your studies. Keep aside Ur books now just revise the formulas n the basic n the most important concepts now. If money allows then go for the FIITJEE, GMP?S (grand master packages), Apex material n test series. Be regular in FIITJEE n ranker test paper files. Try solving the problems of IIT mathematics n IIT chemistry. N phy. N plzzzz read examples given at the end of I.L Finar. At last if u can get notes n questions from Ur friends preparing from various coaching institutions, it will be beneficial for u n I hope u r ready for the top 10 now.
