see, this is based on your performance over there.
there is no reason why a chemical engg will not get a good package if he's among the toppers. civil is going to be a very hot option soon so u may consider ranking it higher. generally ppl go by last yr closing ranks in which civil is ranked below. but the same thing applies there.. to get a good package u need to perform good there
