if we take basic example of etanol and water we can say that it is an example of nonideal solution of positive deviation where A-A OR B-B interaction is more effective than A-B interaction.here process is heat absorbing by mixing and volume of the system also increases.interaction decreases after mixing so it is a constent boiling mixture known as low boiling point azeotropic mixture.we can say that etanol water mix purified only by azeotropic distilation.here same vapour pressure come at lower temperature so called low b.p mixture. | |||||||||||||
