Did u take time to solve the problems of HC VERMA that were given as examples...?
I donot mean looking at the solved examples just like it............ U need to solve those solved examples self and then at extreme case look at the solutions........
Once u have grip on the solved examples, go for the solved short questions.......Try ur self.......Then go for the EXERCISES.........!!!!!!!!!!!
Try out the way HC VERMA has told in the preface of the book........!!!!!!!!!!!
One thing I would like to tell you....... In physics u will not get straight solution of a problem using a direct formula.........U first need to visualize what is happening and u should be able to see the process in front of your eyes...Draw vigorously if required a view of the problem.....Then look for the knowns and unknowns in ur visualization........Think of the formulas u were taught u get the unknowns.........Write all the equations and solve them to get the answer......
Still u would say there are some conceptions that need to be used...........Look when u read through physics please donot try to memorize only the end formula.....They are mostly of no help.......BUT please try to get a good grip on the deduction procedure.............Learning the deduction by heart and thinking over the deduction will provide u all the required concepts.........Then u can do any problem..........
Try this "HONESTLY" at least for one week ......... say with the chapter of "Kinematics"......... If you get positive results then you know what is good for u........If u still feel difficulty ONLY go through the NCERT books...........Please donot involve into any new book.........and PLEASE PLEASE DONOT BUY RESNIK AND HALLIDAY.......!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tell me after 1 week if I could help u................And keep one thing in mind for initial phases that u are restarting ur preparation for physics so donot let the habit of only using end formulae to come.........!!!
OK.......!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tell if u require any further help.........
