Journey of Mahesh Tutorials began from the year 1988 with ONE CENTER, 7 TEACHERS AND 300 STUDENTS, led to the establishment of Mahesh Tutorials. Today it is a brand name in the field of academic coaching, catering to IX, SSC, CBSE, ICSE, HSC, Common Entrance Examinations (MH-CET), B.COM, CA-CPT, CA-PCC and CA final, Management Entrance Examination Coaching (CAT, XAT, CET, SNAP, NMAT, GRE, GMAT, TOEFL, IELTS) with more than 100 centres and 1000 employees across India catering to the educational needs of students across multiple streams.
It has recently diversified into soft skill training and course such as corporate English and English for All. Apart from Mumbai, Mahesh tutorials is present in Pune, Nashik, Nagpur, Aurangabad, Mangalore, Udipi, Mysore, Bangalore, Chennai and Hyderabad and is launching in multiple other cities in the coming year. Internationally, Mahesh Tutorials has launched its centre in Dubai, UAE, where it is launching 'A' and 'O' levels apart from the already launched CBSE. As service extension, the company has also launched 'Little Tigers', a chain of Day care and pre – schools.
Education for all is the pathway on which Mahesh Shetty, founder & Chairman of Mahesh tutorials treads. His vision is Global Reach in Education And Training, which has percolated to every single team member as their mission to be the largest service provider for Educational solutions in the world. Mauritius based fund Helix Investments, which manages proprietary capital backed by members of the Cullman and Bloomingdale families, has invested in MT EDUCARE Private Limited (the holding company for Mahesh tutorials), as in the space of private educational service providers it is one of its kind to run their operations as a corporate entity with MIS, Budgets & reviews, Brand management & communication strategies, research, content & training specialization, with growth prospects and wealth creation for every team member.
As a corporate social responsibility Mr. Mahesh Shetty supports the education of underprivileged through NGOs like AASARA & EHSAAS. As an education provider Mahesh Tutorials has taken a unique initiative by way of a project called Hum Se Puchho, a landmark in the field of SSC education. It saw committed teachers, in a nonstop 24/7 service where any student, anywhere in Maharashtra could quiz the best teachers for their doubts in any subject and surely receive the most accurate guidance as per board norms.
