Bond Parameter Lone Pairs Bond Order s-character Electro negativity Bond Length Increases with increase in no. of lone pairs. Decreases with the increase in Bond order. Decreases with increase in s-character. Decreases with the Increase in the electro negativity of the central atom. As the s character increases, the size of the orbital becomes smaller. Hence bond length decreases.
